Our touch rugby team took to the field for their first-ever tournament, Pride in Touch, which took place at Hillhead Sports Club in Glasgow's West End on Saturday 29 July 2023.
After months of training, the team were delighted to take to the field to face the teams they had drawn in their pool for the tournament: the West London Warriors, the Dirty Ruckers and the Rainbow Roars.
Following an impressive display from our team, ultimately the tournament was won by Pride Rocks from the Glasgow Lions Touch Rugby Club.
Our team were incredibly proud of their performance on the day, with our own Emmett McKenna going on to win the tournament's overall MVP, as recommended by the tournament officials. The Glasgow Raptors MVP for the day was Bekah Lynch (pictured above).
We were proud to be co-sponsors of this tournament, and were delighted to see our team having come such a long way after they began training together just a few months ago.
